Belgard has come out with a new line of pavers, their new Mirage line. These are 3/4"-1 1/4" thick porcelain
outdoor pavers that come in several colors and finishes. This Mirage line has came from Italy where they have
been operating for over 40 years. The idea itself first started to spark interest around 2012 in the United States,
and it has been growing in popularity ever since. These pavers come in many diffrent looks such as wood effect,
stone effect, and a more elegant polished efffect.
Process of how they are made:
They use all raw natural material, pure minerals, quarts, feldspar and kaolin clays. This raw material is then
pressed, afterwards it is fired in kilns that reach up to 2280 F. This material is then rectified, which means
they cut them precisely in straight lines. This pavers are 3x harder than granite and they are modular.
These pavers have many benefits such as those of regular porcelain. They are frost resistant, skid resistant,
durable and easy to clean. They also have incredibly high breakage loads which is up to 2,000 pounds!
These pavers are perfect for patios, pool decks, Driveways, walkways, steps, ect. They can also be laid on
grass, gravel, dirt, and sand without grout adhesives, making the installation process very adjustable.
